Cornwall Visitor Information

This western county is famous for its rugged coastline and surfers’ paradise savage waves. Cornwall is ridden with folklore and tales of smuggling and shipwrecks. The sea may be fierce but Cornwall actually enjoys the mildest climate of the whole of Britain.

Great places to visit while here should include the all weather cliff-top Minack Theatre with its ocean backdrop. Lands End is a popular tourist area famous for being the southern most point in the British Isles. The St Ives Tate Gallery promotes the work of its growing artistic community as well as exhibiting the works of the Masters. Many visitors to Cornwall head over to the Eden Project. The giant egg-shaped constructs encompass environmentally controlled research centres.
